Dear Chuck and Michelle,
As we finish enjoying our first
Summer on Lake Auman, we want to thank you again for helping us
to build such a wonderful house. We have had the
opportunity to share our home with many friends and family
members over the past year and we can honestly say it has
exceeded all our expectations! Our visitors comment on the
obvious high quality of the construction and materials used
throughout the house and we couldn’t agree more.
When we began this project almost
two years ago, we were both nervous and excited. Neither
of us had ever been involved in the construction of a home from
start to finish and we had heard numerous horror stories about
delays, cost overruns and poor workmanship. These stories
could not be further from our experience with Bolton Builders.
From the design process straight through the final closing, we
knew we were in more that capable hands. As we drew up the
plans, your keen sense of design and attention to detail helped
us improve upon our own ideas. During construction, your
close involvement and excellent suggestions kept the project on
time and on budget. Michelle’s guidance through the myriad
of design decisions was invaluable. We were amazed at the
amount of time you spent helping us make the perfect selections
for everything from doorknobs to chandeliers! We were so
impressed with the workmanship and integrity of the many
contractors who worked on our home. It’s obvious that
everyone involved with Bolton Builders takes great pride in
their part of creating beautiful, custom-built homes. This
pride and commitment to our satisfaction continues even today!
We know we made the right decision
in selecting Bolton Builders to create our new home. It
was an enjoyable and rewarding experience and a pleasure to work
with such gracious, straightforward and honorable people.
Now we look forward to continuing our friendship as neighbors.
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Dave and Jane Tomick

Dear Chuck,
Now that we have settled into our new
home in Seven Lakes West, we would like to express formally our
thanks and appreciation for the way it turned out. The house
is beautiful inside and out, the floor plan is spacious and
comfortable, and the overall craftsmanship is excellent.
Between the day we asked you to design
and build our home and the day we moved in, we experienced many
exciting moments and were confronted with seemingly countless
decisions related to the project. Although nothing could be
more thrilling than seeing the finished product, we also enjoyed
many other stages of the process, especially the design stage.
You listened carefully to our wishes and ideas, and gave them vision
and shape. As the floor plan went through several refinements,
your design skill and creativity became increasingly evident.
For us, one of the most challenging
aspects of building a custom home is making selections:
flooring, countertops, electrical and plumbing fixtures, paint
colors, etc. Michelle was a godsend in this department:
her interior design sense was matched by her unlimited patience with
us when we became overwhelmed by all the choices. In addition,
the many photos she e-mailed allowed us to see the house take shape
between our visits from the Outer Banks.
We are also deeply appreciative of
Sally’s role. As office manager, Sally did more that handle
paperwork; she also familiarized herself with the details of our
home-in-progress so that when we called or e-mailed with questions,
she was able to get the answers in short order. Communications
to and from Sally were an indispensable part of the construction
process.
Not long before the house was
finished, Bascom joined your team as supervisor. He proved to
be a “quick study,” as they say in the theatre business.
Moreover, Bascom has overseen the punchlist process efficiently and
conscientiously. In our home-building experience, working
through a punchlist has often been frustrating, but Bascom has made
it as painless as possible.
Bolton Builders’ well-deserved
reputation for excellence wouldn’t be possible without
subcontractors who are also committed to quality. Over the
past year, we have had the opportunity to meet and get to know quite
a few of the people who had a hand in building our home. They
have all been courteous and friendly, and the great majority of them
carried out their work skillfully and carefully.
Working with you and the rest of the
Bolton Builders team was a pleasant and rewarding experience.
We are pleased with and proud of our new home and have already
received many compliments on it from family and neighbors. As
we said to you at the closing, there is no doubt that in selecting
Bolton Builders, we made the right choice.
Sincerely,
Tom and Tina Harper |

Dear Chuck and Michelle,
Now that we are almost settled in
our new home in Pinewild, we would like to express our heartfelt
thanks for all your efforts in building us a beautiful home.
We are very pleased and very proud.
We want to tell you, Michelle, how
much your help in choosing colors, tile, granite, fixtures,
etc., meant to us. You made our choices a lot easier to
make, and we are very grateful.
And thank you, too, Chuck, for all
your help, suggestions and attention to the building process.
We could not be more pleased with the results.
We would also like to take this
opportunity to tell you how much we have appreciated the kind
considerations and helpfulness that Bascom and Sally always
extended to us during and after construction. You have two
employees who reflect the very best aspects of your company!
Again, a heartfelt thanks to the

Dear Chuck and Michelle:
We moved into the home you built
for us on Lake Auman in West End in late April. It was a
remarkable and satisfying experience for a number of reasons:
-
You gave us a competitive
completion date and beat it.
-
You helped us with our plans,
built it to our specifications and made suggestions then and
during construction that you thought we would prefer…and you
were right.
-
You changed items such as
windows and walls (with our permission) because you knew
they would work better…and they do.
-
You built us a home within our
budget.
-
Living in Illinois during
construction proved to be no problem because of your
conscientiousness. You kept us posted on all that was
happening with phone calls, faxes and pictures.
-
Your subs were meticulous and
professional.
-
Michelle has been invaluable
as a décor expert, helping us with selections and even
traveling with us to High Point several times.
-
Your follow-up has been more
than we could have expected.
-
Your concern that it is right
and to our satisfaction continues today.
-
You delivered everything you
promised…and more.
WE LOVE THE HOUSE and don’t feel
we could have gotten greater satisfaction. We talked to
other builders and got competitive bids. One of the best
decisions we made was to choose Bolton Builders to create our
new home. We have built four houses prior to this one and
I wouldn’t have believed it could be this easy and satisfying,
especially from afar. We would recommend you to our best
friends, our mothers and anyone who has a dream home that they
hope to make a reality. You have proven yourselves
competitively priced, easy to work with, gracious, honest (and I
stress honest), caring, trustworthy and competent. Didn’t
expect that much. Couldn’t have asked for more…Thank you.
Sincerely,
Kathy and Jerry Constantino

Dear Chuck and Michelle.
Thank you for a truly enjoyable
building experience from the time we walked thru the front door
at Bolton Builders until we moved into our beautiful Bolton
Built home on Lake Auman. Both of you and Sally made us
feel so welcome that we knew you cared not just about our future
home, but also about us.
Chuck you listened to our needs,
looked at our rough plans, and visualized our dreams. Then
you got all excited, had a glimmer in your eyes like a child at
Christmas, and said, “I have just the house”. Due to an
unfortunate circumstance you had a set of plans for a home that
you had not only designed, but truly wanted to build, and that
were nearly perfect for our lake house. With those plans
as a starting point, we worked together to make them fit our
exact needs and become the basis for our beautiful home.
Of course we had to tweak a few things as we went along, but you
were always there with thoughtful ideas, a helping hand, and a
can do attitude.
Michelle, you are not only a
gifted decorator, but also a wonderful person to work with.
We came down and in two whirlwind days were able to pick out
almost all the appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting, rugs,
tile, flooring, cabinets, and other similar items. The
idea of setting our own standards and allowances was truly
unique and extremely helpful. You and your talents are a
definite asset to your customers.
Friends that have come to visit
have been so impressed by the quality of our home. We
smile and say, “Chuck would have it no other way. He is
his hardest critic.”
Sincerely,
Jan and Georgia Pollnow

contractors that work with Bolton also made this a painless
venture.
We had a dream and Chuck and

Dear Chuck,
Joan and I wish to express our
heartfelt appreciation for your efforts in making our new home
everything we had wished for. From the design process to
the delivery of the front door key you demonstrated why you are
such an exceptional contractor. You start in the design
process by looking at the house through the eyes of the owner;
you don’t promise what you can’t deliver; you keep your
promises; you have a superb team; and you bring your experience
to the job site in a hands-on manner. Each of these
elements makes a significant contribution to your achieving a
top-notch result.
After considerable web research we
had found a house plan with which we were very comfortable.
You and Michelle carefully discussed our desires and ourselves
as we all reviewed the plan. Your understanding of us
allowed you to make several suggestions that dramatically
changed our house to the exceptionally inviting and livable home
that it is. Your critical eye made a significant
difference. And these inputs were wonderfully augmented by
Michelle’s discerning judgments on colors, textures, materials,
vendors and furniture placement. We quickly realized that
we had an incredible team guiding us all the way. You and
Michelle helped to make a downloaded house plan into a very
special home that is our joy.
We would expect every quality home
contractor to have a quality set of subcontractors, as you do.
But special mention must be made of your trim personnel led by
Jon. Jon is so much more that a sub – he is a craftsman.
His influence is subtle but its cumulative effect is profound.
What a team!
Sincerely,
Joan and Willy Campbell

Dear Chuck and Michelle,
Lisa and I wanted to express our
gratitude to the both of you as well as to the many others on
your home building team for our wonderful home. We had
spoken with other builders in the area before we met with you
but we knew when we left your office after meeting with you that
you were our choice. We were impressed with your resume of
award winning homes and your plain-spoken description of the
expected steps during the building process. But what
really sold us was the palpable sense of your excitement when
reviewing our house plans during our first meeting. Your
excitement level and commitment to build a high quality custom
home never wavered throughout the process.
Your constantly understood our
vision and provided many fine suggestions, including valuable
cost-saving ideas. As you know, we have family members who
are accomplished homebuilders in Texas. During their
recent visit, we lost count of the number of times “wow” was
said regarding the quality of our Bolton-built home. We
feel that the excellent craftsmanship of your subcontractors
combined with your meticulous attention to detail produces the
“wow-factor” in the homes you build.
In retrospect, we assume that we
were a pretty overbearing and demanding couple during the
building process. But we discovered the toughest critic in
ensuring the highest standard of quality was Chuck Bolton.
You delivered on promises and even exceeded our expectations
regarding the custom items in our home.
The support provided by the both
of you, as well as Debbie and Sally in the office was wonderful.
Communication by e-mail was extremely helpful.
There are occasional times when we
just look around and smile at each other to acknowledge how
happy we are in our wonderful Bolton-built home: and it is quite
often that we have visitors that comment how much they like our
house. We feel that this is a tribute to your
craftsmanship and your strong commitment to your profession.
We have no hesitancy in recommending Bolton Builders to anyone
hoping to build a home.
Sincerely,
Scott and Lisa Hees

Dear Chuck and
Michelle,
Please accept
this letter as a token of appreciation from Robin and me for the
outstanding job you did in the design, construction, and decoration
of our new home. At the risk of sounding trite, we must say that you
indeed built for us not a house but a home.
The degree of
your ability and knowledge is far-reaching, and your personal and
professional integrity was noticeable and a great pleasure for us
throughout the entire building process. We wholeheartedly thank
you.
In conversations
with our friends and some neighbors, we constantly hear "tales of
home building woes": delays, quality problems,- "surprise" cost
overages, unfriendly service. And each time we have as our
comparison only "tales of home building success": timely work
schedules, high quality materials and construction, beautiful design
support, fair and honest pricing, and friendly, personable service.
In short, the
builder DOES make a huge difference. We are fortunate, therefore,
that we discovered and chose you as our builder. Since we moved in,
we are reminded each day of your professionalism and expertise.
I must tell you,
too, that I discovered your company's other secret weapons: Robert,
Sally, Jack, and Charlie. We appreciated their assistance and
experience every step of the way and extend our thanks to them as we
settle into our home. The caliber of your subcontractors is
unprecedented as well. The many men and women who had a hand in
building our house did so to our complete satisfaction.
Would we
build again with Bolton? Well, yes and no. Yes, because
building again with Bolton would be a pleasure. No, because you
built the perfect retirement home and we look forward to enjoying it
for many years to come. We are so fortunate.

you did on our dream home here at Forest Creek Golf Club. We decided
to use you after looking at yourexcellent workmanship in other
homes. The quality and craftsmanship truly exceeded our
expectations. The added touches you did in our home that others

you getting the house completed on schedule and ready for us to
enjoy with our family and friends during the US Open.
The
subcontractors that work for you are very professional and qualified

reputation for a quality built home and excellent design suggestions
really helped us in our decision for selecting Bolton Builders Inc.
as our building firm.
Thank you so much for returning calls promptly. Having a good
rapport and trust with our builder really made a difference. Your
attention to details, no matter how big or small were always
priority with you. It's so obvious the pride you take in your work

You
both make such a great team. Hearing view points from the male and

Dear
Chuck and Michelle,
I
want to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the
wonderful job you both did on my new house. I am very happy with the
result of your collective labors.
When
I initially interviewed prospective builders, I was favorably
impressed with the fact that not only would I have a highly
experienced construction manager to work with, but also an energetic
and cheerful design expert who was very knowledgeable about all the
fixture, surface and cabinetry products that were available on the
market; and, would able to help an interior design-challenged male
such as myself immeasurably. The "team" that you presented to me
made Bolton Builders stand apart nom the other builders I
interviewed.
The
house came out just the way that I hoped it would both inside and
out. I was able to see firsthand the care and attention to detail
that went into the work at various stages of construction and the
quality that is apparent in the final product. It seems amazing that
all the things that had to be considered and performed on this
project could have come together so harmoniously. I have never built
a custom home before and never built a house anywhere but Northern
Virginia. You helped me understand and cope with some of the local
building requirements and made the process of building this house
while I was still living in Virginia as convenient and stress-nee as
possible.
So,
thank you both. It was a pleasure working with you. If I ever decide
to build another home in the area I will definitely call Bolton
Builders.

Dear Chuck and

We cannot believe it has been over a
year since we moved into our new home in Seven Lakes West and we are
remiss in not thanking you earlier.
We selected you
and your company to build our home due to your reputation for
quality, honesty and customer service. Well you exceeded our
expectations in all the areas. You made the building process easier
than expected and your ideas and suggestions were invaluable and
substantially added to the quality and beauty of the house.
In addition, your
entire organization should be thanked as well. They were all
terrific before, during and after the building phase. We do not know
what we would have done without Charlie, Gary, Tom, and all the
others we dealt with in your organization. They are truly top
professionals and did an outstanding job.
We also would
like to give a special thanks to your lovely wife, Michelle. Her
decorating advice and ideas were also invaluable and so
appreciated.
We have several
friends who had cautioned us about a lack of builder follow up after
closing. Well Chuck, your follow up on the few minor items went
beyond our expectations and further proved to us that you and your
organization are dedicated to customer satisfaction.
In summary, you
and your fine organization deserve your fine reputation. We cannot
express how pleased we are with our new home and would highly
recommend you and your fine organization to anyone considering
building a new home in the area.
We do not think
many people can or want to call their builder a friend at the end of
the building process. We however, consider you a friend and can only
say, thank you for our lovely home.
Sincerely,
Walt and M.J.
